Feel like some parts are a bit too loud, covering up the drum/rhythm. Other parts sound desynced (not having any clear rhythm anymore or otherwise soundling like being on an off-beat) which I personally are not a fan of.

DXLS responds:

thanks for the review!

Really nice beats.
Curious to... Why is it called "Jungle Driver"? Can't really imagine anything about a jungle and/or driving with this... idk.

Waterflame responds:

Thanks! It was more meant to be something driving you forward rather than literal driving. But to me it has a Jungle vibe, the thick rain forest rave : D

This for sure would be good in a Trailer for a game or something...

Also, that ending gives me Portal Reloaded vibes for some reason.

JessieYun responds:

Hahah thanks for the compliment! :D

Now the animation is left to do...
I imagine someone under a ceiling of a house (medieval time), playing the guitar, while it is raining...

JessieYun responds:

Hi Andre601,
Long time no see!
Thank you very much for the comment. I'm glad you liked it.

I search for some droids... Did you saw them?

JessieYun responds:

I saw some new Stringtroopers hunting them down a while ago. They went that way. *points to one direction* The darker side of Newgrounds.

To be honest...
Compared to the other version before can I not hear anything that screams Sawdust Angel to me... Even the drum itself sounds... weird.
It's still good tho, but it kinda misses that thing that made sawdust angel so good. Specially the increasing beat to the final part.

Schtiffles responds:

Well, it was created inside the same project as part 1, it uses the same synths and drum samples, and has the exact same buildup and drop structure at the same BPM. It started out as an extension of the part 1, but I couldn't find a proper way to transition to it from the tetris ending, so I separated it into its own song. I feel that, at least from my perspective, it's worth calling it part 2.

Like it.
Only contra: To short and stops, where imo could be the best part of the music.
But because it's a demo, I guess it isn't that bad.

JessieYun responds:

Hey Andre,
Thanks for the comment and suggestion! Glad you enjoyed it.

I'm no real fan of this music.
The guitar is way to strong and loud. The instruments aren't really harmonising with each other... But don't ask me why.

JessieYun responds:

Hey Andre,

Well, it's an old song made 2 years ago haha :P

Oh man!
I can remember the original and need to say, that it didn't loose its charm.
The remaster is really good and I still like the Tetris-part in it.

Schtiffles responds:

Thx m8!

I actually just added more to the tetris part, check it out :)

I personally liked "Our nostalgic days", because I could really see the story in my mind and really feel the happy part of the song itself... And I understand the judges not too... :/

JessieYun responds:

Hi Andre,

Thanks for the comment! Yes, some said that "Our Nostalgic Days" was good, but I tried to consider all the comments on the review section :)

Thanks again!

I programm stuff in java and also draw from time to time.
And I love music.
